I am not questioning the power of the Almighty.
I am questioning the motives of such an all powerful deity. The question is, what did God want? What does the Almighty want now? If man is made in the likeness of God, doesn't it follow that maybe he isn't always sure of what he wants?
Do you always know what you want? Do you know what you would do with an unlimited fortune? What if you could live forever, how would that affect your decision making? Do you want equality or equity for all people on Earth?
If you could choose, what color skin, eyes and hair would you pick? I bet white teeth would be a unanimous choice.
The point is, if you could would you choose to be God?
If God is almighty, why does he make life so unpredictable. Is it a game to him? Since none of us know why God does what he does, maybe he doesn't know what he wanted when he created Heaven and Earth…maybe he was just practicing, experimenting in his laboratory. Maybe, like the Man that he created, he was a bit indecisive. Maybe he made us into so many different versions just because his mind was not made up.
Now he has an overwhelming job to keep track of where this project is going.
It has progressed to a point where it may be better to just shut it down. Or at least wipe the slate clean as the Bible says happened with the Great Flood. When the fish tank gets too polluted, it must be flushed out and replenished with clean water.
Or? If God could, maybe it's time to revisit the scene. Reestablish order and let everyone know who is really in charge. His vision to create a Garden where life could flourish, and all the creatures would live in Harmony, is not happening. There is a growing God Complex Culture: his creation is wanting to be Him.
Maybe it is time for some serious self reflection, if God could.
