It Is All Your Fault
Big Pharma employes the very best Legal Eagles to protect their interests. The strategy they promote is, like any defense, blame the victim.
Have you noticed that, along with every one of the hundreds of Big Pharma TV ads promoting brand new "Super Drugs", there is one common denominator?
They always run a disclaimer along the bottom of the screen, in a font so small you need a magnifying glass to read them. Along with that small print the announcer declares "Don't take "XYZ" if you are allergic to it!"
On the surface this is oxymoronic. How would anyone KNOW if they are allergic to this newfangled concoction if you have never taken it? Is there a swab test?
Usually, the announcer ads, "Allergic reactions can be serious and may result in death."
If every ad on TV had to make such a scary disclaimer, the entire US economy would collapse. Imagine McDonalds, CocaCola, Campbell's Soup or JIF Peanut Butter throwing in such a statement of fact: Should you have an allergy to some element of our food, it may result in your death!
You might argue that the shear number of folks that have already consumed those widely distributed foods suggests that they re safe. But actually, there are millions of people who, on advice of their doctors, abstain from consuming highly processed, salty, sugary, or nutty foods for the very same reasons.
During the lifetime of some very popular consumer products, many people have died! Many suffer debilitating seizures or food poisoning symptoms. Most are written off as food allergies. Admittedly it is a relatively small percentage, so it is accepted as the cost of doing business. If you look at their packaging, there are very tiny warnings printed next to the ingredients list. All required by law, presumably to protect the pubic interest, and scare off those with known allergies.
"Beware, during the manufacturing process of some of our products, this product may have been exposed to peanuts."
The big difference with pharmaceuticals is that you take them every single day, usually for the rest of your life! And when they do work properly, you get a big benefit, that may be worth some form of sacrifice. But there are no known allergies to these newly released drugs, at least not yet known. You can't warn people to avoid something that doesn't, at this point, exist.
"Don't take "XYZ" if you are allergic to it!"
But here is my take: These Super Drugs ( like Ozempic, Rinvoc, Dupixent and Skyrizi) are aimed at massive groups of people suffering from the most debilitating and common conditions across the planet. I think all of these consumer protection agency laws are not just for our protection and benefit. I think, especially regarding the Big Pharma TV ads, they are there to protect the manufacturers from consumer lawsuits. And the vast number of them and the billions of dollars spent with the media, is essentially a bribe.
"Play along or the Gravy Train will stop!"
What evidence is there that we are not being told about? Is there an ingredient that has a history of allergic reactions, like peanuts?
The term 'allergic' is there because WHEN bad reactions occur, and the drugmakers know they will, Big Pharma has a built-in offramp from multimillion dollar lawsuits. They will be able to claim, "We warned you! It's your allergies that are the cause!"
"By purchasing and consuming our product, you acknowledged the 'risk' and decided to accept it. Therefore you cannot hold us responsible."
The so-called vaccine for COVID19 is the perfect example of how this corporate legal immunity strategy works. In 2020, the vaccine (that was never really a medical vaccine by definition) was rushed onto the market in response to a worldwide pandemic. It was never fully vetted, and no one knows what the long term side effects will be. Proof of that statement is the FACT that every one of the manufacturers demanded and got financial immunity agreements from every nation on the planet. But that was not enough, because everyone knows governments that signed the agreements, have a half-life, and the drug companies know those agreements are written in disappearing ink. So they ran TV ads with the same disclaimers we see on all of the newly developed drugs coming out every day.
The majority of television advertising revenue is coming from these super wealthy pharmaceutical organizations, and they all devote a majority of the 30 or 60 second ads to pointing out how you are responsible for anything bad happening to you while taking their products.
"Bad results are not the outcome of our research and development."
Big Pharma employes the very best Legal Eagles to protect their interests. The strategy they promote is, like any defense, blame the victim. They have cleverly preempted lawsuits with an implied contract that will be held against you should you, or someone close to you, be killed or maimed by their chemical soup-of-the-day.
Don't blame us, it's all your fault.
Yes, they ALWAYS have a list of words that are non recognizable! Along with, if you take this don't take that. A list of what taking it can cause...it is crazy...All chemicals...to harm in one way or another...
